Industry Partner Benefits

With a three-year financial commitment in support of the Center, membership as an Industry Partner entitles your company to the following benefits:

Connect to a pipeline of critical information on the printing industry.
With RIT’s leading industry experts and state-of-the-art technologies, Printing Industry Center Industry Partners have access to comprehensive, cutting-edge information critical to advance your company’s agenda, providing an advantage in today’s competitive marketplace. Industry Partners have priority contact with Center directors and RIT expert faculty and researchers for feedback and consultation on pertinent issues.

Benefit from an elite education for the next generation of printing industry managers.
Industry Partner companies are invited to nominate outstanding employees to the Printing Industry Center Scholars Program. Successful nominees receive a full scholarship and stipend to enroll in RIT's MS or MBA programs. Working alongside Center researchers, they contribute heavily to the applied research agenda while receiving an advanced education at the leading institution for the industry.

The Graduate Student Co-op Program offers a unique opportunity for master's level students at RIT to participate in a co-op experience at Industry Partner companies. The Center funds the salaries of graduate students from any RIT graduate program for the full-time 10-week work position. Industry partner companies receive a direct return on their support of the Center with the advanced skills and fresh perspectives of RIT graduate students in the workplace.

Existing online courses in RIT graduate programs and on-site programs through IEP are available for Industry Partner employees on a space available basis. The Center covers the cost for enrollees on a limited basis, providing your company with a solid foundation in knowledge from the world leader in graphic communication education.

Shape the applied research agenda and get priority access to results.
The applied research agenda is built through an intensive collaboration between Center researchers and representatives of Industry Partner companies. At the annual Center Planning Meeting, a focused research agenda describing a number of specific research projects is presented, and Industry Partner representatives are asked for feedback in each of the proposed projects. The annual plan of work is developed from the outcome of this planning, and Industry Partners are consulted and continually updated on the progress of the research.

Findings are presented exclusively to Industry Partner companies through research monograph publications and at the annual symposium. Industry Partners have privileged access to the findings for a specified time period before they become available to the public, enabling an advantage in cutting-edge industry strategy and applications.
