Printing Industry Center Welcomes New Communications Coordinator

The Printing Industry Center at RIT is proud to announce that Ashley S. Waltz has joined the Center as the Communications Coordinator, effective July 1, 2007.

Ashley Waltz

Ashley is a Rochester Institute of Technology graduate (B.S. New Media Publishing ’05, M.B.A. Marketing and International Business ’07) and a native of Rochester. She brings extensive experience in design and marketing to the position, including internships at Xerox Corporation and marketing development for AVL Designs, Inc., a locally owned theatrical consulting firm. Her interests include digital printing and publishing, digital photography, and painting. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer and volunteering at her church.

Ashley is excited to begin her new role and looks forward to working with her colleagues at RIT and with the Center’s industry partners. Printing Industry Center co-directors Patricia Sorce and Frank Cost believe that Ashley’s enthusiasm for the printing industry and her extensive knowledge of publishing and advertising make her a particularly good fit for this job. In Cost’s words, “Ashley brings a level of expertise that will allow her to interact at a high level with faculty researchers and industry partners alike.”
